Hello, I am running Cash Forecaster V4.1.2.5

Am I correct in thinking that you cannot put in your Cost of Sales
into the spreadsheet as a % of each sale line?
The cells seem to prevent this, only allowing you to enter an already
calculated number, or is it just me?
      Thanks
      Peter

Hello Peter, thank you for your question and I apologise for my delayed response.

Yes you can do this, but the data is set up to only allow whole numbers to avoid any unnecessary small differences.

To do this you can use the ‘Round’ function.

Just in case you are not familiar with this Excel function here is an example:

        =round(Cell*COS%,0)

        – Where the ‘Cell’ = the cell you want to work out the cost of sale percentage, which would be where your sales line is.
        – Where the COS% = the Cost of Sales percent, which can be represented as 0.40 where the cost of sale percent is 40% etc.

I hope this makes sense, let me know if you have any further questions in this, or if you need further explanation.

Thank you, and a Happy New Year to you.
